Dinner in Paris

Tonight I met Turkish filmmaker Ece Ger
 following the screening of her documentary “Meeting Jim” about an extraordinary 83-year-old American living in Paris who runs an open house every Sunday for dinner.
 
Tonight he had a 100 visitors, many from all over the world .He is something of left over from the 1960s and  now an established cultural icon that was into social networking long before the phrase was invented.
 

This is Ece Ger’s first full-length feature film and it was shown as part of central Scotland documentary festival at the Macrobert arts centre.
