La Greve

I went down to La Greve at La Tremblade to watch the sunrise. All very pretty. But the best bit was being invited into one of the oyster sheds to see the grading and washing of the little beauties. He showed me round and explained what was going on. Even his pal standing next to him was welcoming (see extra).

Then home for a coffee and croissant. In later news it was a beautiful day which meant another afternoon lying on the beach with a book. i finished off This Must Be the Place by Maggie O'Farrell. Brilliant ad powerful and moving.
