Englands House

This cottage is called Englands House. It is in the middle of our village and was known to be standing in 1548 when a lady called Dame Elizabeth Durden occupied it. Now it is where I go to visit my dentist! What a lot of changes this little cottage has seen in the nearly 500 intervening years!
Glad to say the dentist visit was just a check up and all is OK.
