Our beautiful girl

I bought Little Miss a koru necklace when I was in NZ. Lovely JL bought her some earrings to match. I asked her to model for me so that JL could see how lovely she looks in them. She's growing up so quickly.

I have declared today a 'happiness day'. The last day of the holidays is a tricky one for Little Miss as she isn't enjoying high school at the moment. We've baked cupcakes (for my kids tomorrow - cake day Monday!) and are going to make some 'nice cream' a bit later on. We went to buy Little Miss a couple of new t-shirts at Target and then I took Abe for a walk at the (very wet) Wetlands.

We've washed the bedding and put it back on the beds and in a little while we'll embark on making dinner. Our clocks went forward this morning, so it's already 5 pm. I know I'll have to broach the sandwich making, bag packing subject soon, but I'm not looking forward to that battle, so we'll leave it for a little while.
