Heart of a watermelon
The outside green-dappled skin looked unbroken, unblemished except for a slight yellowing where the fruit had sat on the ground. 'Knock-knock' sounded firm. Split open, it was a mess of water and wet chunks of pulp and a very odd smell. It is no longer summertime. . . .

A rainy day, no wind to speak of, listening to rain falling down, but not being blown around, distractedly trying to accomplish organization and clean-up, content to accomplish little, but think much.
