European Research Night

In the plaza del Arenal, Jerez de la Frontera, and across Europe where Universities and other academic institutions open their doors to celebrate the research they do across a wide range of science and technology disciplines. Here in Jerez’s main square, the university of Cadiz Set up tents promoting everything from the use of drones in climate change science to archaeology and marine biology with a special focus on hands on fun for the young. It was packed, and the madcap Jerez TV Channel was there covering the event in its inevitable zany eurotrash way. This was a truly Europe wide happening. I don’t know but I rather fear anything positive from Europe got rather less attention in the UK
