One of those days

A windy dawn turned into a full on pasting of wind, epic amounts of rain and mosquitoes.

Not ideal conditions for fly fishing. We managed to hide away from the biting things and after a few missed chances I finally hooked a nice tarpon. However as it somersaulted through the air the second time the hook pinged out and into the tree behind.

Still, great to see the variety of wildlife hanging out deep in the mangrove lagoons
