Flowers in your hair

Liz's sister Elaine is still here so we went off today with our friend Maura and Léo  to Semsales a village in the Fribourg region to see the Désalpe. This is a typical swiss festival at this time of year based around the cows descending  down to the plain after spending the summer grazing in the alpine pastures.  
The cows are decorated with flowers and wear bells.of course.

Lots and lots of people and some cows too. We watched a few troops pass by and then came home for lunch in the garden
