Hartland Quay

We’re now in north Devon having left Cornwall early this morning in light rain. Our first stop was Bude where we braved near gale-force wind to reach a cafe for a cup of hot chocolate.

This was taken at Hartland Quay where I could barely stand upright, but at least the bad weather had passed through and the sun was shining again. I’ve added an extra looking the other way.

JJ is off to Ilfracombe this evening and I’m meeting up with Terrifo.

Just sorry we didn’t hang around St Austell to see The Flying Scotsman go past.
