Race!

We had a lovely morning for the Estate trail race. All the work which had been put in by my mate G, whose vision it all was, together with the Harriers' organising supremo, really fed back into a wonderful experience for everyone! Once he wasn't tied up when A was marshalling [see Extra], Django enjoyed himself too! Given my almost total lack of running over the past six months, I was satisfied to be within a couple of minutes of the time I did last year for this wonderful 10k course. The winner took 39:40 - very impressive given the climbs and terrain in places. And we all took home a cute medal hand-crafted by G, and a bottle of beer!
