Botany Bay

I had several beautiful pictures of Botany Bay itself as well as views of Sydney across the bay, but I felt this was the most important photo of the day. Apparently when Captain Cook landed, all the aboriginal people ran away in fear with the exception of 2 men who stayed to greet the new comers. By way of introduction, the aboriginal men were shot in the legs by Cooks crew. Going through the Visitor centre at Kurnell made interesting reading and it was hard to believe a lot of the stories being told about British decent on this country were true.
