Request Stop

My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess,

Oooooh. Last night was not good. It wasn't a hangover as such. But it is so not a good idea to have beer then cider then wine then whiskey. Even one glass of each has repercussions.

As I found. At 1.30am. When I got to experience last night's meal in reverse. It was so much better the first time.

Regardless, I felt okay this morning. Cazza and me checked out of the hotel and she took some more Palmy pictures on our way to the bus station. The bus driver was bizarre. All his announcements were in a monotone, and VERY grumpy.

...there are a few people who haven't checked in with me their tickets will be cancelled that is policy some may wish to stop at request stops I do not stop at request stops...

He sounded so depressed. It was like riding in a bus driven by Eeyore.

"What the eff was THAT?" asked Cazza.

"I don't know," I replied. And fastened my safety belt.

The trip back to Wellington took about two hours, so we got home just before 2pm. Cazza immediately fell asleep until 6pm. In the end it was Punky who woke her up, impatiently.

When you get awoken in the middle of the day by a cat - one of nature's laziest animals - you know you are in trouble. Maybe we should get a pet sloth next time.

So now it is the evening. We have delivery pizza and I have put on Analyze This which is one of Cazza's favourite-ever films. I think we've seen it about a dozen times.

We may no longer be able to party like we used to, but we still are the best at the recovery stage.

S.
