What beautiful chevron markings this creature has! But strange behavior, starting with the unusual color. It's hard to see in this photo, but it seemed to have a very long abdomen, and moved haltingly. I decided, based on no knowledge whatsoever, that it was looking for a place to lay eggs.

As for me, I spent the better part of the day in a comfortable lawn chair out in the garden, recovering from another hideous bout of nighttime vertigo. Nasty little crystals, my head a pinball playground. Lit up all the numbers.
