Archie,King of the Hill....

Another day of action. Mr Moffat’s team back knocking lumps out the front drive way. The problem is that after generations adding gravel to the driveway it is now a lot higher than the front door and whenever we get a heavy downpour the water runs in the door . So the plan is to lower the level and start again.
Other jobs included one spreading slurry, the other taking straw out to the cows in fields to eat . I dried a load of grain only to discover the bearings right at the very top of the central auger had collapsed. Phoned my mechanic pal Mr D who had it up and running again tonight.
Interviewed another herd for the hill job, but another no as he is getting paid a lot more for the job he is in . Can’t match the wage he was on sadly so it looks like we are back
to square one again.
