Yellow on Red

Stayed around the house today for deliveries and various odd jobs.  I did get the grass cut before the rain forecast for tomorrow ... such an exciting day!

Before the light went completely I photographed a couple of Gill's Japanese Maples and although I like the colours, the textures were nothing special so I have fartnarkled it into an oil painted effect. 

We now have the delight of the Radio Devon commentary on Exeter v Bath ... always good fun and never rushed :-)
