Wet dog day afternoon

Yes I know it's wet and I'm standing in a puddle - oh all right a stream that's overflowed all over the lane - and I'm wearing my raincoat - and Ted Hughes called November The month of the Drowned Dog, yes I know - but my paw is raised in anticipation and I'm waiting for you to pick up that Kong and throw it - just THROW IT!!!
