The pub that time forgot
Even when I started working there in 1982 Clerkenwell was getting trendy. Rag trade sweatshops were moving out and photographers moving in. The Guardian moved in, followed by the Eagle Pub across the road which was considered to be London's first gastropub.
This pub isn't it!
Today photographers' studios on The Green have been taken over by architect firms, advertising agencies and up market housing. meanwhile, The Three Kings seems to have avoided any whiff of modernisation.
