Flower between two candles.

A rushed day today. Lots to do and not enough time. I was however allowed some extra time when another parent did the badminton training run with Mr H.

So I had time to try out my new birthday lens. I have to admit it - when it's focused properly it is very sharp. It also gives this spiky effect around the candles. I must try getting some bokeh out of it.

This image is a bit of a cliche but I thought I would give it a go. It seems a bit Christmasy. Maybe if I swapped the rose for holly with red berries or mistletoe maybe, or large maybe.
