Rhodo Time

Blackheath is renowned for its rhododendrons, and though I'm not a huge fan, I think a bunch always looks lovely in a vase.
The loveliest are at the beginning and end of the season, I think.
In the middle we drown in the more average puce variety.

We've returned to winter today.
Cold, wet and miserable, but we certainly need the rain.
Good to see the drought stricken areas of New South Wales are also getting some decent rain.
