Ten point landing !

Watched this guy's ride and as a dismount, he just launched out horizontal - in beautiful form!   His boogieboard is stage left, out of the picture.  

Solar halo seen at the beach today!    Info at  EarthSky.org.   Lots of salt surf in the air.    High, thin cirrus clouds drifting overhead.   And some backwash, too.   Also saw a small group of surfers way out, beyond the fishing point.  The swells were coming from an odd direction.
