When the battle's lost and won......

........another day of ups and downs; these last few months have been something akin to a sine wave with the occasional seven points below the mean thrown in for good measure. I'm looking forward to Christmas simply because it offers temporary respite from the daily onslaught.

Elsewhere, received great news that the buildings insurance company have accepted our claim for the dry rot works and so we can afford the turkey now. Talking of Turkeys, happy thanksgiving to our US readers; hope you enjoy your big birds and pumpkin pie.
