Mote Lake

A carefully planned day was almost scuttled by the M20 being closed eastbound and a series of breakdowns westbound this morning leading to gridlock in Maidstone on the morning when we booked Susan’s car for MOT, service and a few repairs.

A journey of perhaps 10 minutes took 50. From the garage we were walking into town for breakfast before going on to Rock Choir. What was going to be a leisurely breakfast turned out to be less relaxed but we managed to get to the Choir on time.

We walked home through Mote Park where today’s reflective blip was taken. After lunch we headed to gym finishing in time to collect the car and get home. So, all in all, the logistics worked out despite the morning problems.

The extra is of a car which has obviously been left on the roadside for a very long time.

We spent the evening strumming and singing. Attending Rock Choir is having a positive effect.
