Plan B

Sometimes one starts the day with an idea for the blip. Today the idea was to head to Eshaness (it's a long time since I've been up there) and take some pictures along the cliff edge looking northward or of the Eshaness lighthouse.  

However, the weather really didn't collaborate (wet and misty, rather than the traditional Eshaness blow-you-over-the-edge gales) - so I came away with a couple of not very satisfactory images (see the extras) and headed back down to the south end of Shetland. 

For about 20 minutes, just before sunset, on Scat Ness there was some fantastic light and lovely waves. So unapologetically - have another Scat Ness waves blip.
