Dreidle Box -- Nearly

Traditionally it should be square, but these days round is the way they tend to be made.
But I have kept the hollowed out base so there is always a suitable surface for spinning the top.

The stream was running fast and higher than yesterday although we haven't had any rain.

There are fungi popping up (and falling over) all over the place at the moment and the horse chestnuts are dropping their conkers -- I like the patterns you get on them when they are fresh. ….. much better than the ones on the face in the tree.
