After the wine...

A lovely sunny day and the wind has dropped too! A day of wandering around villages and cafe stops. This is a pile of what once was vine root, or souche, which is grubbed up and stored for barbecue fuel. Everywhere around here is planted to vineculture and we’ve tried quite a few of the results.
