'The Dixons' At BernauerStraße

I was all over the city today so went to blip this :-
A very meaningful work of art situated at Bernauer Straße.
This huge piece of raw steak is cut by a massive knife on which we read 1961-1989. It commemorates the building of the Berlin Wall in 1961 The wall affected all in Berlin and destroyed freedom.Many people were affected as families found themselves on one side or the other. If you visit Bernauer Straße you will see several escape tunnels marked and plaques giving the date some one escaped .
