Thinning the trees

Arashiyama today, and there's a large bamboo forest there. Normally the place is rammed with tourists, but today thanks to the rain it was fairly quiet, although there wasn't much time to find and compose shots. This shot could have been better.. but the Canon 70D doesn't perform that well in the dark even with an L lense on the front.
