Taken through my study window, I couldn't get outside today with my camera, 70mph gusts of wind & lashing rain. Poor Devon tonight is under water, villages have been cut off, roads are like rivers, properties under several feet of water. Lucky for us, we live on a hill... but because of that we do get the wind! I shall assess the damage tomorrow in daylight, as when I did go outside in the front garden to find Larry, I heard lots of bangs, bumps, smashes, branches creaking... lots of branches down reported on the main road by various neighbours & friends. Calm tomorrow, but back to the storms on Saturday.

One Larry robin managed to survive it thus far, am hoping he's going to be waiting for me tomorrow too:

So starling through a dirty window. That summed up my day really. Managed to get some decorations done, a few necklace pendants, while shivering to the wind that blew under the doors & strangely through double glazed windows too!!! :) xxx
