there's no view from here

Today I showed my friend the view from Emperor William's monument, which is the most important sight in my region. We hiked all the way up there though, which was extremely exhausting.
Btw this is the first time I've taken a picture with my DSLR since my parents' divorce over a year ago, I'm proud of myself!
