Birthday.....

60....thought I had better document this.  Going away was my idea as I don't want a lot of fuss.  Our friends Mike and Gina came too and so we had a lovely few days on Symi, one of the dodecanese islands off Rhodes.  On the morning of my birthday I was presented with this lovely gift from my daughters..... and it went down very well during the evening celebration.  Unfortunately we couldn't eat at the hotel tonight as they only have open air dining and there was a cyclone storm forecast and so we booked into a restaurant very close by..... and rain and thunder it did!  We had a power outage in the restaurant which was rather atmospheric....
