When Fergus Jumped Up
14.5C and dull. One or two showers. Moderate WSW/W breeze.
Apothecary7's day off (should have been Tuesday).
We went to Westport beach mid morning and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish.
Fergus had a good run along beside the dunes and all about the beach, trying to get two little dogs to chase him at one point without any luck. He just had to run off on his own.
We sat at the seat at the back of the beach for a while and watched the waves breaking. As we were about to go back to the car I tapped the boards in front of the seat to get Fergus to pop his front paws up in hope of a photo. Instead he jumped up on the triangular shelf at the corner and had a good look along the beach. I got him to sit there and got a photo or two, with his lead blowing about.
A shower came in off the sea just as we got to the car, so plans for lunch at Glenbarr were abandoned.
Later Apothecary was applying gesso and paint on top of a painting she has deemed bland. New work will cover it in due course.
Afternoon music: Blue Rose Code.
