wednesday wobin

I've heard him singing his songs to me recently but not managed to snap him for blip, but today I got lucky! always nice to be serendaded while you're pottering in the garden - or he's just telling me to hurry up and get out the way so he can rummage for worms!

A disturbed nights sleep last night for me - not helped by the fact that I could hear noises outside around 2am.  Couldn't see anything out there but am sure it was a fox or badger knocking a food bin around... probably wasn't helped by the fact that I'd just finished a creepy book last night (Melmoth by Sarah Perry - very good!) and was on high alert for spooky noises and goings on!!
