Riders to your horses!!

After witnessing the continued activity in George Square these past few weeks it's easy to understand why the preparations for the holiday begin so early. The ice skating rink and canopies are nearing completion and the fun rides were being installed today - it won't be long before wide-eyed children of all ages will enjoy George Square's Winter Wonderland.

Not usually a huge fan of the rides, but must admit the artistic talent that goes into these beautiful carousels is much to be admired. They do evoke a bit of nostalgia as well - and that's not a bad thing, especially at this time of year!
