A Straw Flower

This very small straw flower was just begging to be photographed with the pretty purple Aster flowers in the background.
I had the baby today; she took a nap for 15 minutes....not long enough...I tried to get her back to sleep, but no luck.....so I took her for a walk. It was a walk to the lake, but she didn't fall asleep until we were almost back home......therefore I continued the walk for another hour. The weather was perfect.....sunny but just pleasantly warm with a breeze.  Only one problem.....I didn't expect to walk very far today so I wasn't wearing my walking shoes.....my heel hurts tonight.....darn!!!! I didn't even notice it was hurting until later!
