This is a backblip for this summer when I traveled up to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, where I was born. When we went up to the lighthouse, this old building caught my eye. Funny what you don't notice when you live somewhere but how everything looks different when you go back and you notice little things?
I had a second eye appointment to today. Two fast developing cataracts so an referral was made to a specialist. Blah. Not only has my prescription changed dramatically since last year, but it changed again since 3 weeks ago, soooooo....crossing fingers that I get in sooner rather than later.
Apart from that, work is chaos at the moment. Everyone is stressed and we have a departmental meeting tomorrow. Fingers crossed again for a good outcome.
This weekend is now looking sunny for the wedding so it will be a fun ending to this week ; ))
Hope you are all well!
