Romeo, by Escher, with Sheol...

Where for art thou, Sheol?

A nice day, albeit very blowy, wandering around Pézenas. This medieval town has the traditional maze of tight alleys and tall shuttered buildings, and in this case a fine inner courtyard stairway.

I may have slept in the car. Late night something had a damned good meal on my arm, which this morning looked like one of Popeye’s. A couple of one-a-day ceterizine is dealing with that, but they do have the side effect of locking me out (which loratadine doesn’t do, but we didn’t have any of that).

All I can say is whatever it was that bit me must have had trouble flying off later, because we three “lads” did a decent job of sending a good bottle of Lagavulin south last night, and I was probably 46° proof...
