Jimsonweed - Datura stramonium

Yesterday we had three of these plants and today we still have two (I removed a small one when I was weeding.  Many thanks to Mollyblobs for the warning.  I didn’t know what it was and was quite intrigued and as I’m not into hallucinogenic drugs I think this one is best avoided.  I first noticed it last year growing next to the runner bean plants and I’m guessing that it seeded itself and has re-grown this year.  There is quite a long article on Wikipedia if you are interested and Mollyblobs has an edited version.  I am just about to don gardening gloves so I can get rid of the plant.
