Padstow
Backblip. Our friends David and Emma arrived in Watergate Bay on Friday for a couple of nights so we were able to meet up and catch up as part of our holiday which was really lovely. Rob and I had the afternoon in Padstow and this shot of the harbour was taken when the sun put in an appearance in the late afternoon. No sunset shots from tonight as the four of us went out for a delicious meal and it was rather nice to just sit back and enjoy the sun dripping into the sea instead of grappling with a tripod and filters!
One thing that had struck us both on the previous 3 nights is how quickly the sun goes down when sunset "commences" when you are photographing it. It feels like it goes in a flash as you try for one more shot and it looks completely different from the shot one minute before!
