Guests gone, flowers remain

We waved our weekend guests goodbye on the tram back to the airport this morning - but not until after I won our last game of Catan at the kitchen table! The flowers that they brought for us (blipped) serve as a reminder of a fabulous weekend together.

We spent the rest of the day dealing with the debris of three days of partying. One of my jobs was to make a batch of delicious orange soup from leftovers (delicious due to the amount of leftover cream added to the mix!)

Between loads of washing, Mr hazelh returned to his exercise regime. I resisted all strenuous activity on account of the pain in my right leg - to be discussed with the doctor in the morning.
