Pier 39

The famous sea lions were enjoying the sun on pier 39 in San Francisco.
They first began using the dock after the earthquake of 1989 and as it has plentiful herring, available dock space and is in a protected environment the sea lion population has grown!
A good place for people to watch these amusing creatures!
