Coast Path

Made ourselves some sandwiches and set off on a beautiful walk along the coast to Combe Martin today.  The weather was so much better than had been forecast - as evidenced by the blue skies and sunshine here.  It was like that for most of the 5.5 mile walk.  Lots of lovely coves along the way, and a great view while we sat and ate our sandwiches.

I was still feeling exhausted, so was very keen on catching the bus back, rather than doubling up the distance we'd walked.  Tim's knee also started playing up towards the end of the walk, so that cinched it.  We stopped for a coffee in Combe Martin, had a wander through the village and down onto the beach, then caught the bus back to Ilfracombe.

Cooked dinner in again, and had yet another relaxed evening!
