Jewel Weed

This plant is one I've known forever having seen it in many places and expecially along creek sides when we were doing "creek hikes" in scouts carryiny our plastic pans waling through the streams.  It's leaves would turn silver if you put them in the water.  Also now is the time of year their seed pods hang low and you can pop them open just by lightly touching them...feels so tickly between the fingers.  This plant has many medicial purposes.   See here  This is another back blip as I attempt to catch somewhat up from my long Ohio trip!
