There's a light

It has been a totally miserable day weather wise, dark and raining all day. So I switched all the lights on, turned the heating up, drank loads of coffee and didn't move from my chair all day! I really must buy some light bulbs, I went to switch this lamp on and wondered why it wouldn't work!!
