Today's the day ………………………. to get a postcard

What a lovely card we had in the post today from our good friends Alasdair and Seonag in Stornoway.

They just wanted to let us know that they had been to what sounded like a fascinating evening in the Lanntair - all about the Shiant Isles Recovery Project, including a superb presentation by Adam Nicholson.  The picture on the postcard was taken by RSPB photographer, Jack Ibbotson and it shows the steep cliffs of one of the islands magically shrouded in mist.

I'm sure we would have enjoyed the evening too.  So nice of them to think of us ………………………….
