The dropped stitch

By Bodkin

A sunny moment

The smell of sweet peas greeted us as we entered J's new polycrub. The construction was only completed mid summer but the beds quickly filled up with 'new polytunnel' gifts of plants and veg plants that had been pre-sown in pots in the spring. It is a vision of loveliness and has been productive too, with crops of peas, beans, courgettes and tomatoes.

Our Wool Week activities today included visiting the sail loft in Walls. Another warm welcome, soup and homebakes for lunch and then an interesting chat with local knitters.
