Today we walked up to Smithills Hall which is one of the oldest manor houses in northwest England. Parts of it date back to the 15th century, it's a pretty interesting place to visit. The hall itself wasn't open today and it's not very interesting for a toddler and a baby so we just went in for a little bit of lunch at the tea room which is Mary Poppins themed!
