Wedged in

This poor little blue tit was being blown about like nobody's business by the gale force wind. He was trying to get down to the bird bath but ended having to brace himself in the crook of the tree here.

I always get concerned about the extremely tall trees that surround our garden when it is windy like this. I heard an ominous cracking sound earlier and two massive great branches have come down at the end of the garden... oops. I think I'll skip my walk up through the woods today.

Poor Peter has had to stay off work today as he is now not well. A sorry state of affairs we are all in at the moment!

I spoke to Rafi's Dad this morning and Raf is still showing small signs of improvement, although he does have a very high fever which the medical staff are struggling to keep down.

We hope to get up there again in the next couple of weeks when we are free of bugs and can then be of more help to Rafi and his family.
