Surprising Maassluis

Altho' in my near neighbourhood and not far away from Rotterdam, I seldom visit this lovely old city Maassluis. Do like this view across its harbour onto its Groote Kerk (Big Church).
I remember the city's square from scenes in Paul Verhoeven's movie 'Spetters' and oddly enough those memories turned up instantly today when walking there again. Scenes from a movie awakened when being there, I find this quite odd... I have no recollection of odeurs or agonies from this place and yet the scenes from its square call for the memories on instant.
