Day one!

Finally the weekend of the ROC Mountain Marathon has arrived!

Been waiting and training a looong time for this!
And it didn't dissapoint!
On the hills just under the 6 hours we were allowed for our class.
 Didn't actually feel that long... Flew by!

Weather for first day was very kind and made up camp under blue skies (albeit a little cold!)

My brothers navigation skills got us to mid camp with a not too bad placement in our class and 2nd place in our category.

Not a bad sleep to, even though I'd managed to lose my roll mat somewhere out on the hill!!
