In to the light

Busy doing nothing - that's how it seemed, anyway, as I was busy all day, but didn't actually achieve much. Hey ho!

Short walk late in the afternoon, in Happy Valley. Sad to see just how many trees had been uprooted or severely damaged during the recent gales. The woods seemed rather sad and gloomy too - dark as the sun was already low, vegetation dying down and no bird song apart from a buzzard's cry as we neared the far end of the path. Good to walk over the brow of the hill and back in to the sunlight.
